The addition of Dr. Thainá Lunardon to the Ellie laboratory team further underscores our dedication to delivering medical excellence.
Thainá Lunardon (DVM, MS) received her DVM Degree from the Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná in 2019, in her hometown, Curitiba, in the south of Brazil. To further enrich her knowledge and gain experience, she completed multiple externships in different clinical pathology laboratories in Brazil and in the United States.
After graduation, she completed her Clinical Pathology Internship at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine (2020). Following the internship, she stayed as a Clinical Instructor of Clinical Pathology at Tuskegee University (2021). After completing a Clinical Pathology Residency and earning her Master of Science degree at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (2024), Thaina joined Ellie Diagnostics as a full-time pathologist.
She is married to her husband, Marcos, whom she met at the beginning of their veterinary school studies. In her spare time, Dr. Lunardon enjoys spending quality time with her family, visiting new lakes, and traveling.
