Dr. Thainá Lunardon joins Ellie Diagnostics
Ellie Diagnostics is excited to welcome another accomplished clinical pathologist to its ranks - Dr. Thainá Lunardon.

The addition of Dr. Thainá Lunardon to the Ellie laboratory team further underscores our dedication to delivering medical excellence.
Thainá Lunardon (DVM, MS) received her DVM Degree from the Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná in 2019, in her hometown, Curitiba, in the south of Brazil. To further enrich her knowledge and gain experience, she completed multiple externships in different clinical pathology laboratories in Brazil and in the United States.
After graduation, she completed her Clinical Pathology Internship at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine (2020). Following the internship, she stayed as a Clinical Instructor of Clinical Pathology at Tuskegee University (2021). After completing a Clinical Pathology Residency and earning her Master of Science degree at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (2024), Thaina joined Ellie Diagnostics as a full-time pathologist.
She is married to her husband, Marcos, whom she met at the beginning of their veterinary school studies. In her spare time, Dr. Lunardon enjoys spending quality time with her family, visiting new lakes, and traveling.
A growing team team of medical expertise
We're thrilled that Dr. Lunardon has officially joined the Ellie Diagnostics clinical pathology team. She will be a key contributor as we continue to expand our team of medical experts, further strengthening our commitment to delivering top-tier diagnostic services.
Her hiring follows the recent addition of Dr. Shelley Chu, adding even more depth to our talented group of pathologists. Under the leadership of Dr. Erica Behling-Kelly, we ascribe to the standards applied in academic diagnostic laboratories, ensuring reliable and accurate results for our clients.
In addition to our commitment to medical excellence, we offer easy access to our pathologists. Our doctors, including Dr. Lunardon and Dr. Chu, will be available for consultations and test reviews, providing personalized support to meet your patients' diagnostic needs.
Ellie is excited about the contributions this team will bring to veterinary medicine, ensuring that every test and consultation is backed by trusted expertise.
