The Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky, Jacqueline Coleman, surprised our team by appointing it Ellie Day! This event was a testament to our growth and success in the veterinary diagnostics industry and marked the beginning of a new tradition. This special day was established to celebrate our team's dedication and hard work in bringing this state-of-the-art facility to life. Ellie Day has since become an annual celebration of our achievements and a time to recognize the continuous efforts that have shaped our journey. The Louisville laboratory, which officially opened its doors in 2022, was a major leap![Ellie Day 2](https://www.elliediagnostics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ellie%20Day%202.jpg?width=250&height=261&name=Ellie%20Day%202.jpg) forward in our mission to provide exceptional diagnostic services to veterinary clinics nationwide. Spanning 33,000 square feet, construction of our modern facility began in March 2022 and was completed in record time. Our new laboratory quickly became a central hub for our operations, allowing us to significantly scale our services across the United States. Strategically situated near the air hub of our logistics partner, UPS, the location allows us to offer rapid, accurate diagnostic results often delivered within hours of receiving patient samples. This capability empowers veterinarians to diagnose and treat diseases more quickly, ultimately improving the quality of care they can provide to their patients. The lab interior was thoughtfully designed with our lab technicians in mind. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright and spacious lab with top-of-the-line equipment arranged to maximize workflow.
